Pre-Assembly Preparation

PNP Important Note: Motor, 40A ESC, 6 �� 9g servos (Ailerons, Flaps, Elevator, Rudder) & wiring harness are factory pre-installed.
Items you need to prepare separately: 6-channel transmitter + receiver, 3S 11.1V 2200�C2600mAh 25C LiPo battery, foam-safe CA glue / foam glue, Phillips screwdriver.
This model has working flaps, navigation LED lights, and optional Vector gyro stabilisation.

Recommended Spec

  • Propeller: 11��6 3-blade
  • Motor: 3536 850KV
  • CG: 60mm back from wing leading edge (wing centre)

Step 1: Install Main Landing Gear

  1. Flip fuselage upside down. Locate mounting slots for tricycle landing gear under fuselage.
  2. Secure nose gear and two main gear with HKM3.0��20mm screws. Tighten fully to avoid wobble during taxi.
  3. Check wheels spin freely with no binding.

Step 2: Horizontal & Vertical Stabilizer Assembly (Tail Section)

  1. Mount control horns to elevator and rudder:
    • Elevator: KA2.0��16mm screws
    • Rudder: KA2.0��12mm screws
  2. Route the fuselage tail LED extension wire through the horizontal stabilizer slot.
  3. Apply foam glue to contact surfaces, slide horizontal stabilizer into fuselage rear slot. Keep perfectly level.
  4. Plug the tail LED wire into vertical stabilizer LED connector.
  5. Glue vertical fin onto horizontal stabilizer; ensure it stands perfectly vertical. Wait glue fully cures.
  6. Attach elevator & rudder metal pushrods between servo arms and control horns.
  7. Install small decorative parts on vertical tail with foam glue.

Step 3: Wing Assembly (Critical Step)

This plane has separate left & right wings, plus external support struts.
  1. Install control horns on ailerons and flaps using supplied KA screws.
  2. Fit left + right wing panels onto the fuselage wing saddle. Secure wings to fuselage with main mounting screws.
  3. Connect wing servo wiring:
    • Use supplied 2Y servo extension cables for left/right ailerons + flaps
    • 3Y cable for wingtip navigation LED lights
    • Route all wiring neatly inside fuselage, bundle wires with zip ties
  4. Install wing strut bases: bases are left/right specific (anti-reverse shape). Glue bases to fuselage and wings.
  5. Attach plastic strut rods between wing base and fuselage base, fasten with PM3.0��6mm screws & nuts.
? Struts greatly increase wing rigidity; do not skip installation.

Step 4: Propeller, Spinner & Cowling

  1. Confirm motor shaft runs straight without vibration.
  2. Mount the 3-blade propeller, tighten prop nut firmly.
    Viewed from behind the plane: motor should rotate clockwise.
  3. Fit chrome spinner cone over propeller.
  4. Install nose cowling around motor mount and secure with small screws. Ensure prop has zero contact with cowling.

Step 5: Receiver Wiring (6CH Required)

Standard channel mapping (for non-Vector version; follow gyro manual if equipped with Vector stabilizer):

  1. Open cockpit battery hatch. Mount receiver inside fuselage with foam double-sided tape (reduce vibration).
  2. Plug the main aircraft harness into receiver following channel assignment.
  3. Route receiver antennas away from ESC/motor wires; separate vertically & horizontally to avoid signal loss.
  4. Special Tip: Many radios require Throttle channel reverse for this model. You will confirm this during radio test.

Step 6: Pushrod Neutral Adjustment

  1. Turn on transmitter FIRST, then connect flight LiPo battery.
  2. Set all transmitter sticks to centre (neutral).
  3. Adjust clevises on all pushrods so:
    • Ailerons, elevator, rudder, flaps stay perfectly flat/neutral
  4. Factory recommended control travel (Adjust rates in your radio):
    • Low rates (beginner):
      Aileron 35%, Elevator 30%, Rudder 40%, Flaps 45�� (landing setting)
    • High rates (advanced):
      Aileron 60%, Elevator 55%, Rudder 65%

Step 7: Battery Mount & CG Check (MANDATORY BEFORE FIRST FLIGHT)

  1. Place 3S LiPo battery inside front battery compartment, secure with hook & loop strap.
  2. Balance aircraft at 60mm behind wing leading edge (centre wing position).
    • Nose heavy �� move battery backward
    • Tail heavy �� move battery forward
    Tail-heavy aircraft will be unstable and prone to stall!

Step 8: Full Pre-Flight Inspection

  1. Power sequence rule: Transmitter ON �� Connect battery.
  2. Test all control directions:
    • Right stick right �� right aileron up, left aileron down
    • Pull elevator stick back �� elevator up
    • Rudder stick left �� rudder deflect left
    • Flap switch down �� flaps lower
  3. If any surface moves backwards, use servo reverse on your transmitter.
  4. Slowly advance throttle; verify motor spins forward correctly.
  5. Check all screws, glue joints, pushrod clevises are tight.
  6. Range test your radio.

Important Assembly & Flight Tips

  1. Use FOAM-SAFE glue only. Regular CA will dissolve EPO foam.
  2. LED navigation lights can be connected to any spare receiver channel.
  3. Flaps: deploy only at low speed; avoid full flaps during steep climbs.
  4. Takeoff and landing into wind; this aircraft has excellent STOL short-field performance.
  5. Flight time: ~6�C8 minutes with 2200mAh 3S LiPo. Do not over-discharge battery.
