The Arrows Hobby 500mm PA-18 RTF Mode is a compact Ready-to-Fly RC aircraft designed to make flying accessible, enjoyable and convenient. Its classic high-wing PA-18 configuration combines a lightweight airframe with stable flight characteristics, making this small aircraft well suited to pilots looking for an easy-to-handle model.
The 500mm high-wing design with dihedral provides naturally stable flight characteristics, helping the aircraft remain predictable and manageable in the air. Its compact size also makes the PA-18 easy to transport and convenient for quick flying sessions.
Power comes from a 1020 hollow-cup motor, providing the lightweight PA-18 with the performance required for enjoyable recreational flying.
The aircraft is manufactured from lightweight and durable EPP foam, helping keep overall weight down while providing resilience for everyday flying. A lightweight wire landing gear system allows conventional ground take-offs and landings, while the propeller protection design helps protect the propeller during less-than-perfect arrivals.
For additional assistance in the air, the PA-18 features gyro-assisted flight control together with a one-key return function. Once the return function has been activated before take-off, the aircraft can automatically turn back towards the pilot when it is more than approximately 20 metres away. The pilot can regain control at any time.
This version is supplied in Mode 1, with the throttle controlled by the right stick.
Everything required for the aircraft itself is supplied as part of the Ready-to-Fly package, making it a convenient option for anyone wanting a small PA-18 that can be charged and taken flying without building an aircraft from a kit.
Two sets of stickers are also supplied, allowing the appearance of the aircraft to be personalised.
