Required Prep Before Starting

Recommended Battery: 4S 2200�C2700mAh 35C LiPo (XT60 plug)
Radio: Minimum 5-channel transmitter + receiver
Tools: Small Phillips screwdriver (for 3��20mm screws)
All servos, 64mm 11-blade EDF, motor & 40A ESC are pre-installed from factory.

Step 1: Main Wing Installation

  1. Route the wing servo wiring harness carefully into the fuselage opening. Do NOT pinch servo wires between wing and fuselage.
  2. Seat the main wing fully onto the fuselage mounting saddle.
  3. Secure wing using 3.0��20mm screws.
    ?? Do not over-tighten screws �� you can crush the EPO foam.
  4. Check aileron & flap surfaces move freely with no binding.

Step 2: Landing Gear Assembly

  1. Insert the full landing gear assembly into the pre-cut slots underneath the main wing.
  2. Rotate the gear unit 90�� clockwise to lock into place. No screws needed.
Double-check spring orientation; incorrect fitting causes hard landings to crack the wing.

Step 3: Horizontal Stabilizer (Tailplane) Installation

  1. Plug the elevator servo connectors from the stabilizer into the matching extension wires inside the rear fuselage.
  2. Slide horizontal stabilizer into the fuselage rear cutout.
    ? Important: Control horns must face DOWN
  3. Fasten stabilizer with supplied screws.
  4. Test elevator movement to confirm no wire pinching.

Step 4: Radio Receiver Wiring

  1. Open the latch-style canopy to access electronics bay.
  2. Plug the main servo harness into your receiver following this channel layout:
    • CH1: Aileron
    • CH2: Elevator
    • CH3: Throttle (EDF Fan)
    • CH4: Rudder (Nose wheel steering)
    • CH5: Flaps
  3. Secure receiver with double-sided foam tape; keep it away from the ESC/motor to avoid interference.
  4. Tuck all loose wires neatly inside the fuselage cavity.

Step 5: Battery Installation & Center of Gravity (CG)

  1. Open canopy, attach hook-and-loop tape to your LiPo battery.
  2. Slide battery into the front battery tray and fasten with built-in straps.

Critical CG Setting (Maiden Flight!)

CG Reference: 70�C75mm back from the leading edge of the wing root.
  • Move battery forward = nose-heavy (stable for first flights)
  • Move battery rearward = tail-heavy (unstable, avoid for maiden)

Step 6: Control Linkage & Control Throw Setup

All ball-link clevises are pre-assembled at factory. Inspect every joint to ensure clevis retainer tubes are locked.

Recommended Control Throws (Dual Rates)

Low Rates (MAIDEN FLIGHT �C USE THESE FIRST!)
  • Elevator: ��10 mm
  • Ailerons: ��12 mm
  • Rudder: ��8 mm
  • Flaps: Full travel for takeoff/landing
High Rates (After you master handling)
  • Elevator: ��12 mm
  • Ailerons: ��14 mm
  • Rudder: ��10 mm
Set Expo: 25�C30% on all control channels for smoother flight.

Step 7: Full Pre-Flight Checklist

  1. Power on transmitter FIRST, then connect LiPo battery to aircraft.
  2. Check all control surfaces move in correct direction:
    • Right stick right �� right aileron up, left aileron down
    • Pull elevator back �� elevator surface deflects UP
    • Rudder input matches nose wheel steering
  3. Test throttle slowly: EDF fan spins smoothly, no rubbing inside the shroud.
  4. Check all screws, landing gear, linkages are tight.
  5. Verify canopy latch locks securely (prevent in-flight loss).

Important Safety & Flight Tips

  • Always perform a ground run of the EDF away from people; fan blades cause serious injury.
  • Maiden flight: Use low rates, deploy flaps for shorter takeoff.
  • Avoid hard landings �� the EPO foam is durable but heavy crashes can crack wing roots.
  • Never run the EDF on the ground for long periods; insufficient cooling can burn out the motor/ESC.
